Der Moment, in dem eine Lernplattform zum Problem wird, ist selten der Tag der Freischaltung. Er kommt später. Die Akademieleitung soll erklären, warum von den freigeschalteten Konten nach einem halben Jahr nur ein Bruchteil regelmäßig genutzt wird. Der Qualitätsbeauftragte braucht für ein Audit den Stand der Pflichtunterweisungen und bekommt ihn nur, weil jemand zwei Tage lang Listen zusammenträgt. Der IT-Betrieb bekommt Tickets, weil die Kursübersicht unter Last stehenbleibt.

The moment a learning platform becomes a problem is rarely the day it goes live. It comes later. The academy lead has to explain why, six months in, only a fraction of the accounts are used regularly. The quality officer needs the state of mandatory training for an audit and only gets it because someone spends two days assembling lists. IT support gets tickets because the course overview stalls under load.

Keiner dieser drei Fälle liegt an LearnDash. Sie entstehen dort, wo eine Plattform gebaut wurde, ohne die Fragen vorher zu stellen: Wer sieht was, wer darf was, was gilt als abgeschlossen, woher kommen die Personen, was passiert bei Last. None of these three is LearnDash's fault. They come from platforms built without asking the questions first: who sees what, who may do what, what counts as completed, where do the people come from, what happens under load. That is learning architecture — and it cannot be installed after the fact.

Auch im Lernbetrieb bewegt sich die KI-Entwicklung schnell. Was vor einem Jahr als KI im LMS galt — ein Chatfenster neben dem Kurs, ein Prompt pro Funktion — beantwortet keine der Fragen, die eine Akademieleitung stellt. Wir arbeiten deshalb mit dem, was aktuell trägt: spezialisierte Agenten mit festem Handlungsraum statt einzelner Prompts, Agent Chains für mehrstufige Vorgänge, das Model Context Protocol für die Anbindung von Werkzeugen, und lokale Modelle wie Qwen, Llama oder Gemma, wenn Lerndaten das Haus nicht verlassen sollen. Diese Aufzählung hat ein Datum — Stand 09/2026 — und in einem Jahr steht dort etwas anderes.

AI in learning moves fast too. What passed for AI in an LMS a year ago — a chat window beside the course, one prompt per feature — answers none of the questions an academy lead actually asks. So we work with what currently holds: specialised agents with a fixed scope instead of single prompts, agent chains for multi-step processes, the Model Context Protocol for connecting tools, and local models such as Qwen, Llama or Gemma when learning data must not leave the building. That list carries a date — as of 09/2026 — and in a year it will read differently.

Für Ihre Plattform folgen daraus vier Dinge. Sie bauen nicht auf ein Verfahren, das in zwölf Monaten abgehängt ist. Was technisch heute möglich ist, ist bei uns heute baubar; Sie warten nicht darauf, dass ein Plugin-Hersteller nachzieht. Plattformwissen und KI-Entwicklung kommen aus einer Hand, Sie übersetzen also nicht zwischen Agentur, LMS-Betreuer und KI-Dienstleister. Und Sie müssen den Markt nicht selbst beobachten — wir verfolgen, was dazukommt, und bringen ein, was sich in Projekten bewährt hat.

For your platform, four things follow from that. You are not building on an approach that will be left behind in twelve months. What is technically possible today is buildable here today; you are not waiting for a plugin vendor to catch up. Platform knowledge and AI development come from one place, so you are not translating between an agency, an LMS caretaker and an AI supplier. And you do not have to watch the market yourself — we follow what arrives and bring in what has held up in projects.
