AI development for LearnDash and BuddyBoss moves fast. What passed for an AI plugin a year ago — an API call in the theme, one prompt per course — does not carry far today. So we work with what currently holds: specialised agents with a fixed scope instead of single prompts, agent chains for multi-step processes, the Model Context Protocol for connecting tools, and local models such as Qwen, Llama or Gemma when learning data has to stay with you. That list carries a date — as of 09/2026 — and in a year it will read differently.
