Workshops · On your own case

By the evening something is on the table that was not there before.

Five workshops, and each one ends with a named result: your AI inventory, the mandate for a real agent, your first policy, your supplier questionnaire, the list of your evidence gaps. Not with notes and good intentions.

The work happens on your systems and your processes, with your people in the room. What stands at the end is yours and usable without us.

The trigger

The date is already set.

Internal audit has announced itself for next month. A customer wants the completed questionnaire by the end of the quarter. The board has asked for the list of AI systems in use and named a date. In all three cases the problem is not knowledge, it is that something presentable has to exist by that date.

In our experience this rarely fails on ability. It fails because nobody clears a whole day for it and makes the decisions that come up along the way. That is exactly what a workshop is: a cleared day, facilitation that does not let go, and by the evening a result you can put in front of someone.

Where this sits

When a workshop, when something else.

A seminar teaches a method on general examples; you leave with an understanding and apply it later yourself. A workshop skips that second step and applies the method to your case right away. Anyone starting from zero is better served by a seminar, because a workshop has no time for fundamentals. Anyone who knows what to do and simply never gets to it belongs here.

What separates a workshop from consulting is scope: consulting accompanies an initiative over weeks and carries responsibility for the path, a workshop is one closed day with one closed result. If the question is instead whether to build your own application, the Discovery Workshop is the right appointment — it settles feasibility and cost of a build and is credited against an assignment.

Programme

Five workshops, five results.

Each runs one working day of about six hours. What the green line names is what you take home that same evening — not as a promise for later, but as a file.

W1

Building your AI inventory

We go department by department through which AI tools are actually in use — the procured ones and the ones somebody introduced on the side. For each entry we settle purpose, data categories, provider and who answers for it. We ask the uncomfortable questions so that you do not get asked them later.

ResultA completed inventory of your AI systems with an owner on every line.
W2

Setting an agent's mandate

We take a real process of yours and settle what an agent may do in it: which actions run freely, which need approval, which are blocked, who approves, who escalates, who revokes and what the emergency stop looks like. What stands at the end is not a principle but a table with names in it.

ResultAn agreed mandate and approval matrix for one of your processes.
W3

Writing your first policy

The mandate becomes a policy a system can actually apply: rules with an order of precedence, deny beats require-approval beats allow. We run it against real cases until it blocks at the right point — and until you can see which rule applied and why.

ResultA written policy, tested against your own cases.
W4

Building your supplier questionnaire

What can you demand from a supplier about their use of AI, and how do you ask so the answers become comparable instead of merely fileable. We build the questionnaire and the scoring grid with it — otherwise the answers sit there and nobody knows which one is good.

ResultA questionnaire ready to send, with its scoring grid.
W5

The dry run

We sit down on the other side of the table and question you the way an audit would: show me who approved this. Show me that nothing was changed afterwards. You present what you have, and we record where it gets thin. This is not an audit and not a certificate, it is a rehearsal without consequences.

ResultA list of your evidence gaps, ordered by urgency.

Something else?

These five are the ones asked for most often. If your case sits beside them, describe it — in the intro call we will tell you whether it makes a working day with a presentable result, or whether a seminar or consulting serves you better.

ResultAn honest answer, including one that argues against the workshop.
How it runs

Four steps, and none of them surprises you.

1

Intro call

30 minutes, free. Which workshop fits, who from your side has to be there, and whether the day carries at all.

2

Preparation

You get a short list beforehand of what the day will need. Without it the day loses two hours.

3

The working day

About six hours, at your place or remote. We facilitate and take it down, the decisions are yours.

4

The result

In writing the same day, in a format you can keep working with without us.

A date by which something has to exist? Tell us the date. We will say whether one day gets you there or whether more is needed — before we commit, not after.

Terms

What a workshop costs.

All prices net plus VAT. A working day costs €2,900 with us — that holds for the workshop as it does for the Discovery Workshop on the applications page. No per-head fee, no additional invoice afterwards.

Intro call
30 minutes, free. We settle which workshop fits and whether your goal is reachable in one day.
Workshop day
€2,900 net for a working day of about six hours, at your place or remote, including preparation and the written result on the same day. Travel at cost, quantified in advance.
Group size
Up to eight people. Beyond that nobody works any more, they listen — and then a seminar is the more honest format.
Several days
When two or three workshops are booked in sequence, the scope is agreed as a series in advance and quoted as a fixed price.
Moving into consulting or development
If a consulting assignment follows, the consulting terms apply. If it is about building your own application, the Discovery Workshop is the entry point; only that one is credited against an assignment from €25,000.

Which result should stand by the evening is named in the intro call — not first thing on the workshop day.

FAQ

Frequently asked about the workshops.

What does a workshop day cost?
€2,900 net for a working day of about six hours, at your place or remote, including preparation and the written result on the same day. Up to eight participants, no per-head fee. Travel is charged at cost and quantified in advance. The 30-minute intro call is free. All terms.
How is this different from a seminar?
A seminar teaches a method on general examples; applying it to your case is something you do afterwards yourself. A workshop does that application during the session and ends with a named result — your inventory, your policy, your questionnaire. Anyone still missing the fundamentals is better served by a seminar, because the workshop schedules no time for them.
Is this the Discovery Workshop from the applications page?
No, that is a different session with a different purpose. The Discovery Workshop settles whether a use case carries its own application and what building it would cost; it is credited in full against an assignment from €25,000. The workshops on this page work on governance and evidence and are tied to no development project. Both cost €2,900 net per working day, because that is our rate for a working day.
Who from our side should take part?
At least one person allowed to decide — otherwise you end up with proposals instead of a result. Plus the people who know the subject: for the inventory one person from each area where AI is in use, for the mandate the process owner and somebody from IT. Up to eight people still work along; beyond that they listen, and then a seminar is the more honest format.
What do we have to prepare?
After the intro call you get a short list — depending on the workshop, an overview of the tools in use, a description of the process in question, or existing logs and approval paths. This is not homework for its own sake: without it, roughly a quarter of the workshop day goes into hunting things down.
Do we really get the result the same day?
Yes, in the state it was worked out in — as a file, in a format you can keep working with without us. What we do not do is turn the results into a polished document afterwards; that only delays the point at which you can use them. If something is left open at the end of the day, it goes in as an open item and is not quietly smoothed over.
Is one day enough for our complete AI inventory?
For a mid-sized company with a manageable number of areas, usually yes, provided the preparation is in place. With many sites or legal entities it becomes one day per area, and we say so in the intro call before you commit — not on the afternoon of the workshop. A half-filled inventory is worse than an honestly bounded one.

What should be on the table by the evening?

Write which result you need, by when, and who on your side decides along. You get an answer in writing on which workshop fits and whether one day is enough — or that a different format serves you better. If a call is quicker, call.
